Vodice is mentioned already in the 13 century. The church of St. Marjeta is mentioned for the first time round the year 1118. In a document with the date 16 December 1257 the church is mentioned as the parish of Vodice. In Vodice you can see the birth house of Jernej Kopitar the Slovene linguist and reformer. There is also the home of Tav?ar that was built 450-500 years ago. You can see also a lot of natural sights: The Lake of Koseze, The Track of Saint Tilen, The Cave of Dobruše, etc.
